Since the departure of Robert Lewandowski last summer, FC Bayern has been missing a real nine. Sport director Hasan Salihamidzic also admitted this after losing the DFB Cup against SC Freiburg: “After a game like this you can say that a striker is missing.”

The rumors were particularly hot for three candidates: Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen from SSC Napoli.
Kane has been associated with a move to Bayern Munich for months. For the English national player, the German record champions would have to put a record sum on the table. At least 100 million euros as a transfer fee are mentioned again and again.
Kolo Muani shouldn’t be available much cheaper. The Frenchman has attracted the attention of numerous top clubs with strong performances in Frankfurt. According to reports, Eintracht demands around 100 million euros for the high-flyer, who is contractually bound until 2027.
For Osimhen, the SSC Napoli should even call 150 million euros. It is unclear whether FC Bayern would even want to bid in such spheres. Competitors such as Chelsea FC, Manchester United, Arsenal FC, Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain have all paid higher fees than the Bundesliga club in the past.
