The strategic board and the department board have unanimously appointed Eggermont as party leader. According to chairman Britt Hennion, the entire team is behind her and work is underway on the rest of the list.
Mieke Eggermont will also participate in the elections for Vooruit Zwevegem on June 9: in 7th place for the Chamber of Representatives, with national President Melissa Depraetere as party leader.
