Henrik von Eckermann won the last stage of the 20th Riders Tour.
The show jumper from Sweden prevailed in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald after two laps in the saddle of Glamor Girl. Second was the Belgian Dominique Hendrickx on Koriano van Klapscheut ahead of the former German team world champion Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann on Messi van’t Ruytershof.
The winner of the series is Patrick Stühlmeyer. The 31-year-old from Osnabrück was already the winner before the sixth stage. Due to the effects of the corona pandemic, some stations were cancelled, so that three stages of the season that has just ended were ridden at the Kasselmann family facility just outside Osnabrück.
The Riders Tour in Hagen already starts the new season on Sunday. A total of eight stages are planned up to the finale in Neumünster in mid-February. After a long break, tournaments abroad are part of the series again, in the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria.
