Hans Vonk, spokesperson for the municipality of Hoogeveen, confirms this. “The municipality of Hoogeveen has a partnership with Coevorden and Emmen in the case of the collection of old paper. It has been agreed here that volunteers and associations will collect the waste.” Vonk says that this theme is political in De Wolden and that is not the case in Hoogeveen. “So residents don’t have to worry that something will change.”
