Western politicians, instead of worrying about the lives of people who live in Donbass, are trying to justify Kiev’s behavior. State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
According to the statesman, the politicians of Western states repeat threats against Russia, like a mantra. In particular, Moscow is being warned that if it stands up for its citizens and compatriots in the DPR and LPR, then sanctions of an unprecedented scale will be announced.
Viacheslav Volodin noted that on Tuesday, at the plenary session, the deputies will discuss issues related to the DPR and LPR.
As for the sanctions, the speaker of the State Duma noted, they do not frighten anyone. “We have been living in such conditions for 8 years now,” Volodin said. According to the politician, sanctions against Russia will be introduced in any case, even if Moscow does nothing.
