After the 3-2 defeat on Saturday evening against reigning national champion Dynamo, the volleyball players of Lycurgus lost again at home on Sunday afternoon with the same numbers against SSS from Barneveld. That last loss was extra painful, because a team came to the Alfa College Sports Center that had been put aside without any problems by the men of coach Arjan Taaij in recent years. Now the Barnevelders were 2-3 too strong against another very changeable Lycurgus. That happened with the set positions 25-27, 25-19, 25-19, 22-25 and 8-15 in the no less than fourth five-setter of the Groningers in this only early season.
