The volleyball players of Huizen have booked a resounding victory tonight at the start of the B group in the Dutch premier league. The team of coach Teun Buijs won 3-0 in sets on a visit to Taurus in Houten.
Huizen finished eighth after the end of the regular season and was therefore sentenced to play in the B-group. On a visit to Houten in Utrecht, only the first set was exciting. Partly thanks to good serving by the North Holland team, they won with only two points: 25-23.

Taurus was not involved in the second set in particular and had to leave this set to Huizen as well. Thanks to a good run of eight points in a row, it eventually became 25-15 in the second set.
Next Monday, NH Sport’s television broadcast (5.11 pm) will focus on the season and the sky-high ambitions of the volleyball players of Huizen.
In the regular season, Huizen had already beaten Taurus twice and the PhD candidate was too strong tonight. In the third set, Huizen finished it off professionally and so the last set was also amply won: 25-19. Because of the victory, Huizen is currently at the top of the B-group.
