Volleyball player (21) faces cardiac arrest in front of his opponent’s brother (19): “He talks to us, that’s the most important thing”

A player from the Red Dragons – the national volleyball team – suffered cardiac arrest during the match on Sunday afternoon. The second time already, because the same thing happened in 2022. But Martin Perin (21) has since had a defibrillator and it saved his life. He was carried into the ambulance amid loud applause. His brother Pierre (19) happened to be on the opponent’s field and reacts here, just like his parents. “The only thing that matters now is my brother’s health.”
