Evaluating the preparation process for the World Championship and before, the national volleyball player said in a statement made by the Turkish Volleyball Federation, “We are in an intense camp process. We are continuing our preparations at full speed. The FIVB World Volleyball Championship is a very challenging tournament that is held once every 4 years. In the past weeks, double camps were held with France and then the USA. I think both of our camps were productive for us.” made its assessment.
“It was especially important for us to play friendly matches against the world No. 1 and the last Olympic champion USA.” Meliha İsmailoğlu said, “We had the opportunity to see our shortcomings and pros. We will go to Italy on Sunday and participate in the preparation tournament there. We will face Italy, Serbia and Poland, one of the leading teams in Europe.
