It is a story that has lasted since 1974 that of the Volkswagen Golf and which passes through seven (and a half) generations. The last, the eighth (as well as the one currently on the market), is the most technological, indeed: the first of the digital age. Many touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel and in the dashboard area and two 10.25” touch screens for hi-tech interiors, without losing the properties that have always distinguished it: average balanced, comfortable, practical. Proof of daily use both in the city and on extra-urban roads, as well as for family trips or summer holidays. In 428 cm long, 179 wide and 146 high four adults are comfortable, with the usual fifth place for short distances. The trunk of the Golf has rational dimensions: 380 liters which can become 1,237 by folding down the seats, but whose minimum threshold is considerably reduced if the methane and plug-in hybrid versions are taken into consideration.
