Goudriaan also had the necessary challenges last season. After a failed adventure at the German Magdeburg, he found his way again at Volendam. “I went from the free Amsterdam, to the old East Germany. That was a very big contrast. Now I can do my own thing again. In Volendam they accept me how I am. That is what I need at the moment,” says Goudriaan.
In addition to Goudriaan and Mclelland, the only 18-year-old Mirddyn Tol is also part of the group of goalkeepers at Volendam. The North Holland club won 31-34 from Limburg Lions on Sunday and will be in the lead in the stand of the HandbalNL League.
