FC Volendam defender Xavier Mbuyamba has been suspended for one game by the KNVB. The defender received a red card in the 2-1 loss after he had knocked out Feyenoord striker Ezequiel Bullaude.
Volendam announces that they have accepted the proposal. This means that Mbuyamba will have to miss Friday’s home game against Fortuna Sittard. That game can be heard live at NH Sport.
From London to Volendam
Mbuyamba came over from Chelsea this summer. There he played for the under 21 team. The footballer has so far played in 22 matches for FC Volendam. He managed to find the net twice in it.
