On July 1, 2022, the Justis screening authority started with the Declaration of Good Conduct for police data, or VOG P for short. From January 1, 2024, the VOG P is also mandatory for a number of positions at private Forensic Psychiatric Centers and private Forensic Psychiatric Clinics because these are functions. which requires a high degree of integrity.
This means that police data is always requested when applying for a Certificate of Good Conduct for these positions. In that case, the Certificate of Good Conduct can also be refused on the basis of (only) relevant police data. The VOG P will be mandatory for persons who enter employment from January 1, 2024. This concerns the functions mentioned in the appendix Regulation designation functions VOG P.
Nothing will change for the other employers and positions already designated. There will also be no change in the way in which a Certificate of Good Conduct (P) must be applied for by the (potential) employee.
