– In the last decade, the games were dominated by vodka tonics made from flavored vodka, but this decade has started with the rise of unflavored ones. Now in vodka, the taste inherited from the raw materials, softness and a good balance of taste profile and alcohol are valued, CEO of Turku Distillery Tapio Järvenpää commented in the announcement.

What competition?
The International Wine and Spirits Competition, or IWSC, is the oldest competition in the field, founded in 1969.
It is considered one of the most significant competitions in the field.
IWSC trophies are awarded to excellent products in several different categories.
A gold medal from one’s own series does not guarantee the product a trophy-class award, but to get it, the best products are evaluated again and the award is only given to the best of the best.
