ARNHEM – Vitesse top scorer Loïs Openda received the wind from trainer Thomas Letsch after the 3-1 defeat against FC Groningen. The German was not at all pleased with the red card that the Belgian received in the 35th minute of the match for an elbow bump in the abdomen of FC Groningen defender Mike te Wierik. „I am furious, because of him we have to play with ten men for almost an hour. This just can’t happen to Lois. I have seen the images and this was just a red card, not smart of him at all,” said the Vitesse trainer, who announced that he would talk to the striker.
