The Ushuaïa Ibiza nightclub has evacuated thousands of people who attended his Ants party because of the strong streaks of wind. The management of the entertainment venue has made this decision around 10 p.m. and, in a brief announcement that they have published on social networks, has explained that the closure is due to “adverse weather conditions & rdquor; and to guarantee “the best interests and security of our clients”.
As confirmed by a spokesman for the Sant Josep City Council to Diario de Ibiza, the decision to evacuate the nightclub has been taken as a way of “caution” due to the intensity of the wind that hit the area, and that at no time has there been any detachment in the structure of the stage and there has been no no injured. This decision has been made after last night from Friday to Saturday a sudden gust of wind caused one death and forty injuries at the Medusa Festival, in Culleraafter knocking down various structures of the stage assembly.
At the exit of the Ushuaïa Ibiza nightclub, members of the Sant Josep Local Police have also moved to check that the evacuation will be carried out with order and that the agglomeration of people did not interrupt traffic.
