The incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock quickly became the talking point of the evening. Meanwhile, many other celebrities also reacted to the incident. “I sincerely hope that children will learn nothing from this.”
Jayden SmithWill and Jada Smith’s son, responded to the incident on Twitter. “That’s how we do it here,” he said briefly. The 23-year-old son of the actor couple also responded to his father’s victory speech. Will Smith won the Oscar for Best Actor. “My father’s speech made me cry,” it continued.
50 cents shared several tweets about the feud between Smith and Rock. For example, the American rapper posted a photo of the moment when the 53-year-old actor punched the comedian in the face. “You don’t want to mess with me,” it read in the caption. Not much later, 50 Cent shared another photo of the moment when an emotional Will Smith received his Oscar. “You have to win an Oscar to do something like that. If I ever win, I’m going to attack different people.”

‘One Tree Hill’ actress Sophia Bush couldn’t help but laugh at the whole thing. “Violence is not okay. It is also never the solution. This is also the second time Chris has made a joke about Jada at the Oscars. Laughing at someone else’s autoimmune disease wrong. Making a conscious joke about it is just cruel. Both Chris Rock and Will Smith need to calm down.”

The American comedian Kathy Griffin seems to agree with Chris Rock again. “Let me tell you something. It’s not okay to crawl on a stage and then physically assault a comedian,” she wrote on Twitter.

The 42-year-old actress called the moment “the most beautiful thing she has ever seen”. “When I saw a black man defend his wife… It really meant a lot to me.” She continues: “The rest of the world might not agree, but for me personally this was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It made me believe that there are still men who love their wives.” Haddish also wondered aloud why Rock made the joke in question. “He didn’t ask beforehand if she was okay with it and his comment clearly touched her. If she didn’t mind, Will probably wouldn’t have said anything. It just protected his wife.”
Serena Williams responded on her Instagram Stories. In one of the videos that the tennis star shared, we see her with her mouth wide open. In another video, Williams makes it clear that she was in shock after the incident. “I just sat down because I clearly needed a drink.”
Mandy Moore shared two posts from Glennon Doyle on her Instagram Stories. The first photo has the following text: “Violence is never proof of love. That is a deadly idea that has been used as an excuse for domestic violence for years. Please think about this.
