Violence against police officers and emergency workers will now be punished more severely. A bill on this matter by Minister of Justice Paul Van Tigchelt (Open Vld) has been approved. The text contains even more measures. Equipping vehicles with hidden spaces is now also punishable, as is throwing objects over prison walls.
