The geography of Vinitaly sees the substantial equal attendance between the United States and Germany, the United Kingdom market remains in third place, even if tempered by Brexit (which affects imports a lot). The Canada overtakes the historic Chinese market, which slips to fifth position, followed by France. Increase in presences from Northern and Eastern countries, in particular for Finland, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Romania. No Russia, of course, for this edition. Outside Europe, there was a good turnout from Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam; India is also growing strongly. Finally, presences from Oceania are halved while those fromAfrica.

Despite the excellent numbers recorded, which indicate a strong desire for recovery and dynamism in the sector, this year many have decided to not to participate formally with a stand But say organize meetings and parties by invitation outside the fair. Perhaps incredulous that the recovery could be so important? And although wine is a highly material good, there are many ways to emerge place it in the metaverse and even the world of decentralized financethat of cryptocurrencies, is approaching a world strongly linked to the earth.
