Vincenzo Montella, coach of the National Team, made a statement after the match in which we drew 1-1 with Wales and went to EURO 2024 as the leader.

“It was a very tough match. Nothing went beyond our expectations. Wales showed once again that they are a tough opponent here. We definitely could have done more in the first half, but the pleasing part is that we reacted in the second half. I am happy that we reacted in this regard. “I am very happy and proud, especially for all the employees around us, those who support us and the football players, because we finished the group as leaders.”
