US clothing retailer Vince Holding Corp. has taken a decisive step forward in the winding up of its women’s fashion brand Rebecca Taylor. On Thursday, the company announced that subsidiary Rebecca Taylor Inc. had sold its intellectual property and other related assets to Ramani Group-owned RT Ipco LLC. Financial details of the transaction were not released.
The Vince group of companies announced in September that they would hire Rebecca Taylor. The brand had suffered particularly from the problems caused by the pandemic and the adverse economic environment, the group said at the time and announced that it wanted to focus on its core business in the future. Rebecca Taylor took over the company in 2019 along with the Parker label.
