Ville Husso saved a shutout in his Red Wings debut

Ville Husso got off to a flying start to his Red Wings career by saving a shutout in his debut as the Wings beat the Montreal Canadiens 3–0.

Husso, who saved 29 times, was awarded as the second star of the match.

– Most of the time we made Husson comfortable, but he came out with some big saves in the third period. That’s our goal going forward, Detroit pilot Derek Lalonde said.
