Villarreal eliminates Bayern in CL . with a late goal

Villarreal has knocked out Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Spanish surprise of the tournament, with the Dutchman Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld, played a draw (1-1) in Germany on Tuesday. The late equalizer by Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze broke the Germans, after the Spaniards’ earlier victory (1-0) at home. Robert Lewandowski had put Bayern ahead.

Danjuma was the match winner in the first game in Spain. He was substituted in the Allianz Arena shortly before time.
