The Swiss government has decided that the payment of the special road tax for the use of motorways no longer needs to be proven with a sticker on the windscreen. From 1 August there will be an electronic version based on the registration number. The Swiss call it an “E-Vignette”. From now on you can choose between a sticker or the electronic version.
