Viewing tip: the clean-up team of ‘Je Huis Op Orde’ is coming close to Zoetermeer

Everyone sometimes thinks: my house is such a mess. But it could be worse…much worse! In the TV program ‘Je Huis Op Orde’, Viktor Brand takes care of homes with a team to make things livable again.

The team consists of organizer Eefje Sedee, designer Florian Nelemans and household expert Quirine Molhuysen. Behind the huge pile of stuff there is often a personal or emotional story. This is also the case near Zoetermeer, namely in the adjacent village of Berkel en Rodenrijs.

Manon and Ronald from Berkel en Rodenrijs

In the fourth episode of this season, the team goes to the neighboring village of Berkel en Rodenrijs to help Manon and Ronald. They live there with their two children Angelique (23) and Daniel (15). Manon’s two daughters who no longer live at home, Esmeralda and Charlotte, have given up on the family. They see their mother’s emotions running high and are afraid that the bomb will burst… Because in this house not only does the family provide an abundance of stuff, Ronald’s work as a childminder also causes a huge nuisance and frustration for Manon.

Just when Manon has grown out of diapers and toys, the house is full of them. She needs a neat, tidy and mature house, but Ronald also wants to be able to continue to run his childcare at home. This contradiction creates a huge gulf between the two partners. So much so that they don’t even sleep together anymore. Viktor and his team set to work to bring the family back together in a way that does justice to both their wishes.

Your House In Order

You will soon see how Manon and Ronald and their family fare during this clean-up campaign. Je Huis Op Orde can be viewed on SBS6 from Wednesday 4 January at 8.30 pm.
