‘Viewing figures Johnny de Mol must be higher’

Hélène Hendriks agrees with the criticism that the Johnny de Mol talk show HLF8 does not attract enough viewers. According to the presenter, the about 300 thousand viewers he now attracts are not enough.

Johnny de Mol had to hand over the presentation of HLF8 to Hélène Hendriks this week, because he is at home with corona. “Honey, is that HLF8? I always read those ratings, but what is that expectation then?” René van der Gijp asked her yesterday in Today Inside.

“Is 350 bad?”

Hélène then: “I have no idea.”

Rene: “600, 700?”

Hélène: “I have no idea. That might be a pretty high stake, actually, what you’re saying now.”

Rene: “That’s why. You know, Matthijs is a kind of Ronaldo, that is out of the question. You will never get those numbers again. But I don’t know what’s bad. I sometimes read 350. That’s not so bad, is it?”

‘Must be better!’

350 thousand viewers not so bad for a current talk show? Hélène: “Well… For HLF8… What will Khalid & Sophie get?”

Wilfred Genee: “600, 650.”

Hélène: “Yes, so you have to go there anyway. Yes, you have to go there.”

A pithy comment from Hélène. So here she states that Johnny has to roughly double his viewing figures to be able to participate in the talk show race.

Ideal

How did Hélène find her substitute at HLF8? “It’s ideal. It’s really just a lot of work and also something different. Sport is the most important thing for me, I really like that, but you do come into contact with other people once in a while.”

Wilfred: “It went really well and I mean: Angela de Jong was also completely enthusiastic.”

Hélène: “Yes, I saw it.”

flames

Wilfred: “Nicely packed. I think Johnny is feeling a little busy right now though again next Monday. He thinks: now I have to burn again.”

Hélène thinks it’s not that bad. “No, because it’s his show.”

But not for long, media reporter Jordi Versteegden of De Telegraaf thinks. He expects that Johnny will soon be told that HLF8 is going off the air.
