Viewers of ‘Kasteelvrouwe Emmy’ are very enthusiastic: “Really a nice person”

Last week we called Emmy. She told us what to expect from her own program, whether she will ever get tired of doing odd jobs and how she likes being compared to the Meilandjes. Read the entire conversation here.

Castle Lady Emmy

In the first episode André van Duin updated us as a pleasant voice-over. Yes, Emmy is still in her castle. No, the palace is not finished yet. The roof is still as leaky as a basket. But in the first episode, a group of paying guests is at the door. Emmy is totally out of control, but gets through it with her charm.

To do odd jobs

We see how Emmy prepares the rooms for her guests. We also see her doing odd jobs on the castle here and there. Everything with the necessary (as the Meilandjes would say) catastrophes. Although Emmy always remains calm (unlike the Meilandjes) and can laugh about everything. Even when she makes a three-course meal for her guests and sets off the fire alarm.

Rutger

We also see Emmy’s husband Rutger again. In I leave we saw how he wasn’t exactly thrilled with Emmy’s dream of buying a castle. He decided to buy a boat in the Netherlands and stay there. Tuesday evening we saw how he packed his things to leave for France for six months. However, he must first undergo a medical procedure for a new knee. Emmy supports him from a distance via Facetime. At the end of the episode we see Rutger arrive at the castle and the two are reunited: a touching moment.
