On Thursday evening, comedian Tim Hartog, Annemieke ‘Mrs. Stemband’ Hoogendijk and actor Joes Brauers competed against each other in a new episode of The smartest person. It turned out that no one in the studio had knowledge about the human body, because it was the viewers who pointed out an error in the episode to the makers of the quiz.
It concerns an error during the 3 6 9 round, where a question is asked about the human body. Actress Annemieke Hoogendijk is asked how many chambers the human heart has in question nine. She answers with four, and that is also good according to presenter Philip Freriks. But some viewers think differently. ‘The heart has four cavities, two chambers and two atria. (..) Such a shame’, says others. The viewers appear to be right, because the Heart Foundation also speaks of this four separate cavitiesonly two chambers and two atria.
Although Annemieke Hoogendijk was awarded the seconds, the actress did not manage to become the smartest of the day. That is Tim Hartog, who finished with 441 points. Hoogendijk eventually wins the final against Joes Brauers, who has to leave the game. Jord Althuizen takes over his place on Friday evening.
