Vietnam pays one million dollars for Olympic gold

Vietnam, the small producer of the Olympics, is ready to put money on the table for success in Paris.

Vietnamese athletes will have the opportunity for the day of reckoning in their lives at the Paris Olympics, which will be held in 2024. The country’s Olympic Committee together with the South Korean sports funding and support organization ISF promise that he will pay the prize money of one million dollars for the Olympic gold.

The other medal bonuses are also noticeable, as 500,000 dollars and 200,000 dollars are added to the account for silver and bronze.

Vietnamese athletes at the Tokyo Olympics were promised $79,000 in prize money for the gold, but the team of 18 athletes did not bring home any prestigious medals.

Vietnam has won five medals at the Olympics over the years, the most recent of which is Hoang Xuan Vinh Olympic gold in the 10m air pistol at the Rio Olympics. From the same games, Xuan Vinh also won silver in the 50-meter pistol shooting.
