Minister Karien van Gennip (Social Affairs and Employment) said on Wednesday that the cabinet will come up with solutions in the short term for the declining purchasing power of low-income people in particular. The Central Planning Bureau (CPB) confirmed on Wednesday that Dutch purchasing power will fall by 2.7 percent.
