How fortunate that we as Zoetermeers live so close to the Dutch coast! Within half an hour you can put your towel down in the warm sand. Did you know that you can also go by bike? We have a video for you so that you know exactly the way.

Zoetermeer Anton van Osch got on his bike and made a video of the route with his GoPro that we can share with you. This way you don’t have to get lost when you go to the beach of The Hague.
About an hour
You will probably reach the coast faster on an electric bicycle, but on a regular bicycle it will take you at least 45 minutes from Zoetermeer. You can of course stop along the way to take a few photos or eat a sandwich. Or grab a terrace somewhere for a cup of coffee with apple pie.
Once in Scheveningen, you can park your bicycle in one of the free bicycle sheds at the Zwarte Pad, on the boulevard or at the Gevers Deynootweg. Have fun on the beach!
