VIDEO: The unusual moment that the creator of División Palermo lived with a fan

Santiago Korovskycreator and protagonist of the series “Palermo Division”lived a funny moment in a gastronomic establishment when, after a woman from a nearby table recommended the series of Netflix to a friend, Korovsky began to interact with both of them, who never stopped believing that he was the actor and director of the series that has been a great success on the streaming platform. “A lady recommended the Palermo Division to a friend but she didn’t believe that she was me”; commented Korovsky in the net of the little bird.

In the video you can see how, beyond the misunderstanding, the lady clarified that the series “is great.” Immediately afterwards, and between laughs, Korovsky asks him “are you filming?” who she was behind the camera. “It’s a very funny situation,” the voice admitted, unable to stop laughing. “You’re the same,” said a child from the table next to the director, stating that the actor was “similar” to the protagonist of División Palermo. “Yes, I’m very similar,” Korovsky replied wryly. “Did you see the series?” the woman asked afterwards. “They tell me it’s good, I haven’t seen it yet,” replied the actor.

The Argentine series “División Palermo”, which premiered on Netflix last Friday, became one of the most watched series on the streaming platform in just a few days, becoming a trending topic on Twitter. The comedy of 8 chapters of around half an hour each, created and starring Santiago Korovsky, received excellent reviews in the media and networks, and its initial impulse was favored by having been released on a carnival holiday, the ideal occasion to marathon a series: it was ranked #1 on Netflix’s Top 10.

With acid humor, it focuses on a group of people who work as urban guards, and which was created for inclusive purposes. In fact, the protagonist Philip Rozenfeld He is a young man who ends up in the recruitment offices of the Palermo Division by mistake, and although he does not meet any of the characteristics sought, he remains in the position because of his Jewish last name. However, a police case alters all plans.

The series makes fun of the false speeches of inclusion, without disrespecting minorities. In a time marked by the rereading of ways of speaking and behaving, which can hurt or generate situations of exclusion of many various people due to their ethnicity, sex or gender, “Palermo Division” recovers the ability to ridicule the claims of hyper correction, without delegitimizing the search for greater inclusion.
