SC Cambuur also won, 2-1 FC Den Bosch. ADO and Cambuur thus remain on schedule for direct promotion. ADO has 49 points after eighteen games and Cambuur has 41 points after nineteen games. Number 3 De Graafschap has played eighteen times so far and has 31 points. The first two clubs are promoted directly to the Eredivisie.

Because ADO already won the first period title, the play-off ticket for the second period title goes to the number 2 of this period. For the time being, Cambuur takes that position, but De Graafschap can still go beyond that.
ADO owed the victory to two headed goals, scored by Luka Reischl and Cameron Peupion. Oscar Sjöstrand and Tony Rölke scored early in the match for Cambuur.
