Boxer Madeleine Angelsen24, posted a video of himself training as a boxer on his Instagram account in June Hadi Srour27, with.
Now both are threatened with a long suspension, Norwegian TV 2 reports.
The reason is that Srour is serving a four-year suspension due to an epo hormone spike.
Norway’s anti-doping rules deal extensively with which contacts athletes may have with persons suffering from doping and vice versa. Norway’s anti-doping agency Adno believes that the rules in question were violated because Angelsen and Srour met in a “sports-related context.”
According to TV 2, Adno has given Angelsen a one-year ban for training with Srour.
Srour, on the other hand, may receive another four-year doping ban. During his suspension, he would not have been allowed to train with other athletes or participate in the training organized at the training center connected to the Norwegian Sports Federation.
The current one ends in January.

Both athletes assert their innocence.
– I can’t understand that I can get a sanction for who are my friends and who I am with in my free time. I haven’t been training regularly with Srour. There has been no communication between us that would have violated Adno’s rules, Angelsen wonders.
– The Norwegian Anti-Doping Agency exists to protect athletes and catch doping users. It seems that they are focused on being right and suppressing my and Angelsen’s species, Srour reports.
In Angelsen’s opinion, the video published on social media proves that nothing forbidden has happened.
– I would never have filmed an activity that I believed was against the rules, and then published the video on social media. I was just hanging out with my friend during summer vacation.
Adno suspects that Srour trained at the training center in Oslo with several athletes and many different times.
Srour denies the allegations. He also denies the use of epo, for which he got his previous doping collar.
Angelsen is a Nordic champion who also holds several Norwegian championships. The woman’s goal is to reach the Paris Olympics in 2024.
