The statements of the head of the Buenos Aires Government come after the members of the PRO had a lunch in which, according to reports, there were tense exchanges and invoice passes between Larreta and Bullrich due to the internal one that was unleashed by the demonstrations on Saturday, in which Larreta decided to lift the fences that he had put up in front of the home of the vice president in Recoleta.
Bullrich criticized Larreta’s gesture as a sign of weakness. And the Larretista team in the city, with Fernando Straface and Eduardo Machiavellicriticized the imprudence of the president of the Pro. In this context, this gesture from the main presidential candidate of the force to the former Minister of Security is read as a first step in reconciliation.
That same Saturday night, the Head of Government had held a press conference in which he questioned the vice president and her protesters. “To you, madam vice president, I want to ask you not to continue inciting aggression and violence“, Larreta said, in the wake of the riots. “His statements are distractions that have nothing to do with the priorities of our country,” he added. But Bullrich decided not to attend it, as a sign of disagreement with Larreta.
