“72 Seasons” will be released on April 14, 2023 – the eleventh Metallica album and the first since the release of “Hardwired… to Self-Destruct” seven years ago. Metallica have now released a new video for “72 Seasons”, the title track of their forthcoming album. The video was directed by Tim Saccenti and recorded in Los Angeles last month.
Metallica have also released the tracks “Lux Æterna”, “Screaming Suicide” and “If Darkness Had a Son”:
In early March, Pichfork reported, the band also announced that they had purchased a vinyl record pressing plant in Virginia, USA, to meet demand for their back catalog and to meet the need for 72 Seasons.
