Video: football match in Stein stopped after hot air balloon lands on field | Inland

Images taken by spectators show how three people suddenly land on the field with a hot air balloon. No one was injured and the balloon itself was not damaged. However, there was some noise along the line and on the field. The landing could count on applause from the supporters present.

Necessity knows no law

“I didn’t have the opportunity to put it down anywhere earlier. And the gas gradually ran out. Then I saw the football field, so yes, emergency breaks the law,” balloonist Hans Pauw from Cadier en Keer told 1Limburg.

De Ster chairman Raymond Dukers can laugh at the incident. “The players helped to clean up the hot air balloon. Everyone cracked up. Something is happening here,” he responds to 1Limburg.
