However, players should not sigh yet.

Video card prices have been at a standstill for a few years and their availability has been really poor. However, the situation would seem to be alleviated when graphics cards no longer end up in the hands of “scalers” and cryptographers. He tells about it Techspot.

The reason for the higher prices is not the analyst Jon Peddien according to Nvidia and AMD, which manufacture graphics cards, but also to distributors and resellers, which raised prices to insanely high levels. This was again due to a supply disruption. However, the situation has improved in recent months as changes have taken place in the cryptographic field and demand has fallen considerably.

3DCenter has published a report monitoring the development of AMD and Nvidia graphics prices in Europe. Based on monitoring, it would appear that graphics card prices are now approaching the recommended retail prices.

According to the latest data in the report, for example, prices for Nvidia’s TX 3000 graphics cards are on average six percent above RRP, while prices for AMC RX 6000 graphics cards are now only 2 percent above RRP.

In terms of price, the worst option at the moment is to choose the RTX 2060 Ti, whose prices have been up to 21 percent higher than the default prices. Of course, this depends on where the video card is sold, as prices can vary depending on the seller.

However, the general trend is that in the big picture, graphics card prices are falling. At the same time, however, it’s worth remembering that these are a year or two old graphics cards that are expected to have successors this year.
