Viareggio tournament: Inter, Empoli, Fiorentina and Atalanta in the second round

Inter, Empoli, Fiorentina and Atalanta, in addition to the Serie D representative and Alex Transfiguration, are the last to qualify for the round of 16 of the Viareggio Tournament, to which group 2 (which includes groups 4, 5 and 6) unite the Tuscan Pisa and Siena as the best third. After the 6-2 knockout with which they inaugurated the tournament, Fiorentina recovered by winning both games and qualifying, after the 3-0 against Monterosi, in second place in group 5. Against the Lazio players the first half slipped away without goals, despite Denes’ crossbar; then Aprili, Macchi and Farneti were unleashed. The next opponent, Thursday 24 at 15 in Pistoia, will be Milan leaders of group 2. In the group of Viola, the Nigerians of Alex Transfiguration qualify in first place, able to beat Pisa 2-1 as well, with Onyebuchi’s goal at 9 minutes from the end. The Africans will play the knockout phase with Spal, second in group 3 behind Genoa, who will instead face the Tuscan Nerazzurri, who passed among the best third.
