The regional league club VfR Aalen has separated from its head coach Uwe Wolf with immediate effect. The 54-year-old caused numerous scandals in the fourth division.
the VfR Aalen stated in a messagethat those responsible felt compelled to take this step “due to numerous internal and external incidents”. To underline this, the club from the Regionalliga Südwest drew up a long list of Wolf’s transgressions.
According to the announcement, the 54-year-old threatened club employees and repeatedly disregarded clear instructions from management and committees. He is also said to have insulted members of the Executive Committee in writing and verbally. In this context, VfR Aalen also emphasizes that documents and evidence of these misconduct are available.
In addition, Wolf not only lied to the sponsors, he bullied them as well. In addition, he damaged the reputation of the club with a “deliberate media misleading”, as Aalen put it. In addition, there are false statements that are harmful to the association.

Most recently, the sports tribunal of the league suspended him for two games for unsportsmanlike conduct and imposed a fine on him. As “transfer marketreported that Wolf violated an enforceable residence ban at an away game at FC 08 Homburg in October 2021 and called a referee a “schoolboy” in February.
