If a shot by Jill Roord from eight meters out was deflected at the last moment (13′), Tabea Waßmuth used her first chance to make it 2-0. Again it was Huth with the decisive pass, the center forward took the ball with her and didn’t give Fischer a chance to defend (22′). A minute later, Waßmuth was abruptly stopped on her way to the goal. However, FIFA referee Angelika Schröder allowed play to continue – and that was it. There is just as little video evidence for the women as there are long discussions.
Pop failure has long been normal, Schult is not required
The “wolves” remained the game-determining team in the episode. The Lower Saxony have long since gotten used to the fact that they have to do without their captain Alexandra Popp, who is again absent for weeks. Goalkeeper Almuth Schult, who was absent for a long time in the first half of the season and who had not ruled out the end of her career in the summer after her comeback, was not seriously examined.

In the end it was an unchallenged and deserved victory. Only the injury-related replacement of Lena Oberdorf, who was dazed after a collision, clouded the joy a little. New signing Sveindis Jane Jonsdottir, who came on for them, should have made it 4-0 in injury time, but fired wide of the goal.
