Bochum (dpa) – Goalkeeper Manuel Riemann has prematurely extended his contract with VfL Bochum, which originally ran until 2023, by two years.
As the Bundesliga soccer club announced, the 33-year-old veteran is committed to the Revierclub until June 30, 2025. From 2015, Riemann played 218 competitive games for VfL. “Following his consistently good performances in the 2nd Bundesliga, he has now also shown in the Bundesliga that he is a top goalkeeper,” said sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz.
