Bochum candidate Daiki Hashioka has signed for Luton Town. The Premier League promoted team reported the transfer of the right-back on Tuesday evening, without discussing the term of the contract or the transfer terms. According to the latest reports, he is said to be tied until 2027 and VV St. Truiden will receive 2 million euros for the 24-year-old, who was also traded at VfL as an anticipation of the new season. Leeds United and Trabzonspor are also said to have been involved with the Japanese.
With the “Hatters”, Hashioka becomes the first Japanese international player in the club’s history. “It has always been a dream of mine to play in the Premier League. It’s a top league physically and technically, so I know it will be difficult, but I will give everything for the team. My strengths are headers, one-on-one situations and I like to run a lot. I can’t wait to celebrate in front of the Luton fans. “I’m so happy to be here and can’t wait to play as soon as possible,” said Hashioka.
