Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and young player Alexis Tibidi go their separate ways.
The 19-year-old striker is moving to French first division club ES Troyes AC with immediate effect, having previously ended his loan to SCR Altach from Austria.
Tibidi signed a contract in Troyes until the summer of 2027. According to media reports, the Swabians will receive 2.6 million euros for the Frenchman.
Tibidi moved to Stuttgart from the youth division of FC Toulouse in the summer of 2021. At the start of the season, he was loaned out to Altach, coach Miroslav Klose’s club.
“Playing time is what counts most for Alexis and his sporting development at the moment. We can’t offer him that in our current sporting situation,” said Stuttgart’s sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth.
