As the club announced, the central defender suffered a double ligament tear in his ankle during training.
The 23-year-old is out for the time being, but should remain with the team at the training camp in Marbella, Spain, until further notice.
The previously clubless Zagadou was only signed by Stuttgart in September 2026 after he had not received a new contract with Borussia Dortmund.
