Is VfB Stuttgart at risk of losing a top performer? According to transfer reporter Ekrem Konur, Manchester United are planning to start negotiations to sign Serhou Guirassy. The journalist at X (formerly Twitter) does not provide any further details in this context.
The Red Devils have been linked with the center forward for some time. If Konur has his way, the English record champions could present themselves in the country soon.
Guirassy still has a contract with VfB until 2026. However, an exit clause should be anchored in the working paper, which enables an early departure. According to media reports, the fixed transfer fee is said to be around 20 million euros.
“Bild” recently reported that VfB Stuttgart had failed in its attempt to buy the exit clause from Guirassy.

According to Konur, Manchester United faces competition from the Premier League, Serie A and the Bundesliga in their bid for the 27-year-old.
Speculation that Borussia Dortmund is considering buying Guirassy is apparently not true. “At the moment there are no talks at all. Neither with the club nor with the player. That really amused me,” BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl responded to “DAZN” on reports that the German runner-up was interested in Guirassy : “But we live with it, it’s all good.”
Guirassy moved from Stade Rennes to VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2022. The Guinea national player has played a major role in ensuring that the Swabians are in the top group of the Bundesliga this season.
