VfB receives millions
VfB Stuttgart let Alexis Tibidi, who was committed as a top talent in 2021, go again. The 19-year-old left winger, who has been on loan to SCR Altach since the summer, is moving to ESTAC Troyes in Ligue 1 with immediate effect. The Frenchman has a contract there until June 30, 2027.
“Playing time is what matters the most for Alexis and his sporting development right now. We can’t offer him that in our current sporting situation. In this respect, the move to Troyes is a good option for him and a sensible decision for everyone involved. We would like to thank those responsible at SCR Altach for their cooperation and wish Alexis Tibidi all the best for the future,” said VfB sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth in the Swabian report.
Tibidi made 13 appearances for the Stuttgart pros last season and was not involved in a goal. In Altach he had contributed five goals and one assist in 18 appearances under Miroslav Klose. Both VfB and Vorarlberger will be compensated financially in the transfer. Troyes pays according to the “Picture” a total of 2.6 million euros, 438,000 euros of which go to Austria.
