VfB Stuttgart | Millions of rain for the Bundesliga soccer club

At the end of January, VfB Stuttgart announced their cooperation with the marketing company Sportfive. The experts should help the Bundesliga soccer team to further increase sales. Now it has been revealed how many millions the Swabian club will collect through the partnership.

Together with Sportfive, VfB Stuttgart wants to make even better use of the marketing potential of the sportingly unstable Bundesliga club. The cooperation with Sportfive is “essential for the development of our VfB and an absolute win-win situation,” said Marketing Director Rouven Kasper recently and emphasized above all the planning security that the club now has thanks to the guarantees of the new partner.

“Bild” has now found out more precisely which (previously undisclosed) numbers Kasper, who used to work for the sports marketing agency himself (2016 to 2022), probably spoke about. Accordingly, by signing the agreement with the marketing giant, VfB immediately pocketed five million euros.

In addition, there is a further 250 million euros in guaranteed sales. This proud sum is divided over the five-year term agreed between the two parties.

That means: Those responsible for the Swabian club can already plan for the near future with a turnover of 50 million euros per year.



The hopes around VfB are high that the Stuttgart-based company can cushion the imminent exit of Mercedes-Benz Bank AG as a sponsor, which “Manager Magazin” has already reported on.

That Sportfive is looking forward to working with the table-17. of the Bundesliga, caused astonishment in some places, but according to “Bild” the sports marketing agency should see VfB as a strong brand with great sponsorship potential. And: The conversion of the stadium should also result in significantly better marketing opportunities from the beginning of 2024.
