Bundesliga soccer club VfB Stuttgart and the sporting goods manufacturer JAKO have extended their partnership over the long term.
As the Swabians announced on Thursday, the cooperation, which originally ran until 2023, was extended to June 30, 2029. The outfitter produces jerseys, teamwear and fan articles for VfB.
In addition, JAKO acquires shares in VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG, which increases equity. For CEO Thomas Hitzlsperger, this is an “important step” in the club’s investment strategy.
