Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart is apparently about to sign attacker Luca Pfeiffer.
This was reported by several media unanimously. According to “Bild”, “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” and “Stuttgarter Zeitung”, the parties should already agree on a change.
Pfeiffer was loaned to SV Darmstadt 98 by Danish club FC Midtjylland last season. The 25-year-old scored 17 goals in 32 league games for the second division. His contract in Midtjylland runs until 2024.
VfB sports director Sven Mislintat said last week that the Swabians are considering signing another striker – regardless of whether their goalscorer Sasa Kalajdzic leaves the club this summer or stays.
Mislintat emphasized that one would only act if it made economic sense.
